I strive to foster connections with people by creating images that capture their interest. My goal as an artist is to create work that evokes emotion and contemplation and I rather spark questions within people rather than trying to give them answers. For this reason it is important to me that my work leaves room for people to reflect and arrive at their own personal interpretation. I welcome both positive and negative reactions to my work, especially since I enjoy interacting with people who may or may not be like minded. I like to work both digitally and with traditional analog medium, often combining both into my process. I am particularly inspired by all things vintage and old fashioned.
